TRIBUNJAMBI, JAMBI – Di masa pandemi ini masyarakat dituntut untuk aktif berolahraga. Guna menjaga daya tahan tubuh agar tetap fit.
Bersepeda satu solusi dan juga olahraga yang sedang digandrungi oleh masyarakat Kota Jambi saat ini.
Oleh karenanya jalur sepeda yang berada di Jalan Sumantri Bojonegoro, Sipin, Kota Jambi, akan disterilkan dari kendaraan.
“Karena jalur sepeda ini berdampingan dengan jalan umum yang dilalui dengan bermacam kendaraan, maka atas eveluasi bersama pemkot dan satlantas, jalur sepeda di Jalan Sumantri Bojonegoro akan disterilkan,” ungkap Kepala Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Kota Jambi, Salehridho, Kamis (14/1/2021).
Sterilsasi ini ditujukan kepada para pengendara kendaraan bermotor agar tidak melintas, berhenti, maupun parkir di area jalur sepeda ini.
Dirinya juga mengungkapkan sterilsasi dilakukan pukul 06.00-09.00 WIB, pada hari Senin-Jumat. Sedangkan untuk Sabtu dan Minggu akan disterilsasi pada pukul 16.00-18.00 WIB.
“Hasil dari evaluasi kami, di hari biasa itu banyaknya pesepeda pada pagi dan sore hari. Mengingat itu hari kerja,” jelas Ridho.
Kemudian untuk sanksi bagi pelanggar, Ridho mengatakan akan memberi imbauan terlebih dahulu.
“Ya kami akan beri imbauan dulu kepada pelanggar. Tentunya bagi pengendaranya yang bisa langsung pindahkan kendaraannya ya bisa langsung pindahkan,” ujarnya.
Untuk kendaraan yang memang tidak ada pengendaranya, Kadishub Kota Jambi ini mengatakan akan menggemboskan kendaraan tersebut.
“Kalau mungkin petugas di lapangan bersama dengan petugas kepolisian, maka bisa jadi akan dilakukan sanksi tilang kepada pengendara yang melanggar. Terlebih berada di area yang terdapat larangan parkir,” pungkasnya.
